Interactive charts in Infogram are a fantastic way to show dynamic data and engage your audience. You can add interactivity by using multiple tabs for data series. Tabs allow you to summarize two or more charts in one, making it easier for the reader to compare and contrast information.
To add tabs to your chart:
❶ Click to select your chart.
❷ Insert a new sheet by clicking the + icon in the bottom left corner of the chart's data table.
❸ Click between sheets to add data.
Tip: For certain chart types, you can simply add a column to the same sheet to create an additional tab. Looking at the sample data in each chart will help you understand how to structure and format your data.
To manage sheets, click on the ^ icon. From there, you can delete the sheet, clear all data, duplicate it, rename it, or move it to a new position.
Tip: Keep the formatting of your data consistent with the sample data.
Instead of manually using tabs, you can also make your chart automatically switch between them by adding a play button underneath the chart. When pressed, the chart will automatically cycle through all data series.
To enable autoplay:
❶ Click to select your chart, then expand the Chart properties drop-down in the right sidebar.
❷ Enable the Animation play controls option.
