Adding data to your chart is a breeze. Each chart comes pre-populated with placeholder data to show how your indicators should be formatted when inserted into the chart. You can enter your data manually, copy-paste them, upload spreadsheets, as well as add the indicators from external sources.
Add data manually or by copy-pasting

Import data into your chart
You can also import data into charts from your computer, Google Drive, Dropbox, or several databases. Infogram supports the following formats: .xls (.xlsx), .csv, Google Sheets, JSON, and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift, Oracle, Microsoft SQL).
- Go to the Edit data tab in the Settings panel on the right or double-click the chart to access its data table.
- Use one of the file import buttons above the data table.
You will need to authorize Infogram's access to some of your external data sources (Google Drive, JSON, databases), where a connection needs to be created for live updates. Read more in the article about creating live-updating charts and maps. All other sources (your computer and Dropbox) will only allow importing files. Each time you'll want to do an update, you will have to re-upload the file into your chart.
