We are excited to announce the release of a new feature for Infogram customers - Quarterly X-axis labels. This feature allows you to display your date-based values with quarterly x-axis labels, making it easier to understand your data and gain insights.
Quarterly X-axis labels allow you to format your chart's x-axis in a way that groups data points by quarter, rather than by individual month. This can be especially useful when displaying data that spans over a long period and you want to see the trends and patterns of the data quarterly.
To use this new feature, simply go to Chart Settings > Axis & Grid > X-axis time format and select one of the new formatting options available, such as 1981 Q1, Q2. This will display the x-axis labels as Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4, without repeating the year. For more granularity, you can also choose the option to display the year before each quarter, like 1981 Q1 or 1981 Q2.
With this new feature, you'll be able to gain a better understanding of your data and see insights that were previously hidden. Try it out now and see the difference it makes in your reporting. Let us know what you think!
