Connect the objects on your canvas to portray relationships between them. You can create flow diagrams, organizational charts, and connect objects that are correlated. Connectors are lines that automatically hook onto objects and remain intact when the objects are moved around.
In order to connect two objects:
- Click on one of the connector points on either of the four sides of an object and drag the arrow towards the object that you want to connect it to.
- Connect it to one of the nine connection points that are displayed on the other object.
Once you've connected the objects, you can drag them around the canvas and the connection will remain intact.
- You can also edit the connector lines to your liking. Select the connector in the editor and head over to the right-side settings panel, where you can edit the start and end points of the line, as well as its color, style, and thickness, and the transparency level thereof.
Note: You can connect charts, maps, grouped text objects, graphics, shapes, as well as integrated media and data. Keep in mind that connectors are available only in template projects.
