If you'd like to redirect your viewers to another webpage from your project, you can do so by adding URL links to the objects on the canvas. You can add links to text objects, graphics, shapes, and specific parts of charts and maps.
Adding links to text objects, graphics, and shapes
Who can use this feature?
- Click on an object to select it.
- Head over to the settings panel on the right and click Add link.
- With the Add URL option selected in the pop-up window, enter the URL link you'd like to use.
- Click Apply. The object will now link out to the page you've added.
Adding links to charts
Who can use this feature?
If you've included a chart in your project, you can add URL links to specific data entries (e.g., add a custom link to one of the bars of a bar chart).
- Double-click on a chart or expand the Edit data tab in the right-side settings panel to access the datasheet.
- Right-click on the cell you wish to hyperlink. You can also choose multiple cells.
- In the menu, select Add/change link.
- With the Add URL option selected in the pop-up window, enter the URL link you'd like to use.
- Click Apply. Now, when your viewers hover over the specific data entry, it will appear as a clickable object.
Adding links to maps
Who can use this feature?
You can also add links to areas of Area maps and locations displayed on Icon maps.
- Double-click on a map or expand the Edit data tab in the right-side settings panel to access the datasheet.
- Right-click on the cell you wish to hyperlink. You can also choose multiple cells.
- In the menu, select Add/change link.
- With the Add URL option selected in the pop-up window, enter the URL link you'd like to use.
- Click Apply. Now, when your viewers hover over the specific data entry, it will appear as a clickable object.
