You can resize the project pages at any time. If you've selected a template project, you can change the dimensions and orientation of the canvas, whereas in responsive web and mobile layouts, you can change the width of your project.
Resizing the canvas of template projects
- Click outside of the canvas in the grey area, or click the hamburger menu in the upper-left corner of the editor to open Project settings in the right sidebar.
- Click on the Settings tab in the sidebar. In the Size section, you can use the drop-down menu to select a specific format (e.g., A4, US Letter, US Letter Landscape, Dashboard 16:9, Dashboard 4:3), or choose a custom size by typing in the dimensions (width and height) in pixels.
- If you want to resize the page by typing in the dimensions (width and height) in pixels but want to keep the aspect ratio, click on the chain icon between the width and height textboxes.
Alternatively, you can resize the page by dragging its edges:
- Hover over the right, left, or bottom edge of the canvas until a double-headed arrow appears.
-
Drag the blue handles inward or outward to resize your project.
Elements on the canvas will not adjust their placement automatically. They need to be reordered manually (select, drag, and drop) to fit the new dimensions.
Projects with multiple pages cannot have different page sizes. The size set in the project settings applies to all pages.
Resizing the canvas of responsive web and mobile layouts
- Click outside of the canvas in the grey area, or click the hamburger menu in the upper-left corner of the editor to open Project settings in the right sidebar.
- In the settings panel on the right side of the editor, type in your desired width in pixels. The maximum width is 1024 px.
-
The height of your project depends on how many charts and other objects you have added to your project and their height. Click on each individual object to adjust its height in the settings panel.
